Although not a traditional educational setting, substance abuse treatment s=
essions are also learning environments. I recently completed a Q study of =
motivational styles of individuals to "learn" treatment concepts and engage=
new behaviors in an outpatient setting. I found a 3 factor solution and su=

Subject: Learning strategies

How much educational research focuses on how people, themselves, say they
"learn?" I see a lot of research on teaching strategies, some interesting
work on "learning styles." With all of the observation and measurement
going on, I wonder how much attention subjectivity gets in these areas.
