Are we honest enough to develop a sliding scale of membership cost based on 
total income as determined by some kind of standard basket of currencies 
that would produce the same amount of income as IAMCR receives now?  The 
Organization of American Historians, and the American Historical 
Association are examples of organizations that have membership fees ranging 
from about $50 to $100 based on income.  Using income as a source would 
get around having to decide what world individual countries are in.
